Signups are closed, and we’ve run the matching algorithm!

We’ve heard back already from everyone who had no possible recipient–-thank you for the quick replies. We have some work to do on our end and should have assignments out within 24 hours at the latest, with pinch hits to follow.

As discussed during nominations, we’ve added two new fandoms to the tagset: Any Fandom I've Requested for an Exchange Before and Any Fandom I've Requested for F5K Before. We’re trying these out for 2023 to see how they go!

If you would like to add these requests to your signup for the benefit of treaters or pinch hitters, please email us at fandom5kmod@gmail.com. Tell us which fandom(s) to add, which relationship tag(s), and at least 3 genre tags. Also send us your optional details for the request, including DNWs.

Please note that these are true ANY requests–you may not DNW a fandom or relationship matching the requested tags.

In the meantime, we will also be making sure all letter links appear clearly at the top of each prompt, as stated in a previous post.

We encourage you to get in touch at fandom5kmod@gmail.com if you have any questions or concerns about your match. If you have trouble with the format of a letter URL in the optional details, we're happy to sort that out. If you forgot to include a letter link in your own signup or would like the formatting of the link updated, we can handle that for you.

If your recipient did include a letter link but their letter is unfinished, please give it a few days before asking us to contact them--we were able to get assignments out early this year, and they may have expected to have a little more time.
