This is something that comes up a couple of times for my nominations, and I really hope I can explain this properly, because I'm terrible at that. :)
I want to nominate groups, but the standard way the individual character tags on AO3 are is needlessly complicated, namely: somewhere along the line, the basic names got descriptors added so that nowadays, when you're listing characters, in the LOTR fandoms for example, instead of just Boromir, Faramir, Celeborn it's: Boromir (Son of Denethor II) Faramir (Son of Denethor II) Celeborn (Tolkien)
So, if my nominations are for Group: Boromir (Son of Denethor II)/Faramir (Son of Denethor II) Group: Celeborn (Tolkien)/Haldir of Lothlórien ... that's just confusing with the formatting for this exchange, right? Because obviously they're in the same fandom, and those aren't fandoms in the brackets. Should I therefore, for clarity's sake, just make my nominations: Group: Boromir/Faramir Group: Celeborn/Haldir of Lothlórien
