I'm interested in what adventures these folks have when Kenshin's not around, how they might address a problem that looks overwhelming. I want space for them. (I like Kenshin quite a lot, but he overshadows all of these characters in canon because it's his name on the cover.) I'd enjoy backstory for Megumi or Hiko. I'd prefer not to go into Yahiko's backstory because detailed child harm is a DNW, and I don't see a way to avoid that with Yahiko's past. I prefer the anime or manga continuity to the live action movies because there's more there. I'm not fussed about sticking to the actual history of the period because I've always assumed that the setting was a sort of secondary world that was just close to ours in terms of past history.

I think all three of these characters were poorly served by canon in terms of development, consistency, and individuality. I'd like to know what any of them actually wanted and how they intended/intend to get it.
Dara's timeline is confusing and quite likely inconsistent. When did she marry Gramble and have Jurt and Despil anyway? Just what was the point of imprisoning Corwin?
For Deirdre, interactions with her siblings could be interesting or some sort of idea of what she enjoyed doing when she wasn't in Amber. Did she have ambitions or plans? What was falling into the Abyss like? What might she have done if she hadn't gotten fridged?
For the Ty'iga, what is it actually? Is possessing people something it used to do for fun? How much of the host's personality and memories carry over? Is the host aware? What did the Ty'iga find so interesting about Luke|Rinaldo? How did Dara catch it to begin with?
Request 3: The Librarians (TV 2014)
I'm fine with any nominated character but would prefer Flynn only in small doses.
I'm curious about the canonical AUs from the end of season 1. I like the canonical character dynamics but also really like seeing characters grow and change. I prefer to think that Ezekiel remembered what happened during that video game episode, but I by no means insist. I like reading Cassandra as some flavor of queer, but, again, it's not anywhere near being a deal breaker.
I have not yet seen all of season three due to family and health crap getting in the way and due to my daughter and husband wanting to watch Once Upon a Time. I'm not worried about being spoiled. That's not a thing that bothers me. It's just that anything relying on events or information in season three may need a little more explanation for more.

My personal views on God and such don't actually hinge on a particular interpretation of Aslan, no matter what Lewis may have intended.
I am absolutely not comfortable with incest in this fandom.

I'm completely fine with whatever OCs are useful here; even an OC as POV would be fine as long as the requested character(s) are the focus. This is a fandom where I like seeing bits of canon picked at, turned over, and extrapolated from. There are a lot of holes when I look closely, and I want to know how the pieces might fit better.

Haibara Ai (Detective Conan) & Jareth (Labyrinth)

I kind of want to see Ai thrown into a world that she completely doesn't understand. Part of the reason that Sarah did well in the Labyrinth in the movie was a certain purity of intent. Ai lost that years ago. I'm open to many different interpretations of Jareth. He might be trying to get whatever he can. He might be offering people a mirror of sorts for some reason. He might be trapped in the Labyrinth somehow.
I know Ai's not actually a child, but I'd still prefer not to see her in any sort of explicit sexual situation.
Hiko Seijuurou (Rurouni Kenshin)/Rebecca Fogg (The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne)
canon style plot, getting together, fluff, character development
I've just always thought that these two characters would strike sparks off each other. They could be fluffy together or fight constantly (or both at different times). I'm not sure if they'd give each other the time of day unless something forced them to work together, and it will take some creativity to get them to the same place at the same time. I'd be fine with Rebecca in Japan, with Hiko in Europe, or them both in some other place (including a secondary world as long as they still come from their canonical worlds).
Mostly, I think this interaction would be an utter hoot. Of course, it's also possible that it could go darker with The Centre taking a sinister interest in Shawn (and how would he react to something as creepy and pervasive as The Centre?). I prefer Shawn/Gus, Shawn/Juliet, or Shawn/Gus/Juliet to other pairings for Shawn. I'm not against Jarod/Miss Parker, but I'm also not heavily invested in it (but, goodness, Miss Parker trying to deal with Shawn could also be funny).
Vanessa Doofenschmirtz (Phineas and Ferb) & Layla Williams (Sky High)
I'm not entirely sure what would happen when these two met, but I think it could be interesting. I'm not sure that their canonical worlds would mesh well enough for them to be from the same world, but Phineas and Ferb has had people moving into different universes, and I wouldn't think that would be impossible for the Sky High world given the things that work there. I would mainly like to see them having an adventure together, with or without other characters from their canons, but I wouldn't mind if they have different (even conflicting) goals and have to work that out.
