I didn't participate this year because the timing didn't work well for me with other exchanges I'd already committed to doing, but I'm excited by the idea of comics!
I wouldn't mind the commenting rule, either, but it does sound like additional work for the mod(s), so I'd understand if you end up deciding not to implement it.
