Wouldn't "Mystery/Procedural" be a genre AU? "Procedural" conjures images of a noir PI or an everyone-is-a-police-officer AU format. Or do you mean a plot which centres around mystery solving, which might occur in any canon? (Maybe I'm just being dense today, sorry!) If it's the latter case, then I'd be all for adding this as a genre option.

I stared at "Canon-Typical Story" for a good five minutes before I realised that it probably meant "Canon-Typical Plot of the Week" instead of "Canon Setting for Story" so it could be clearer. Your last paragraph hit the nail on the head, really, that's exactly what I'd love to select...
