I really enjoyed this exchange, thank you to the mods and all the participants who made it such a joy!
1. Yes, I found them useful both during signup and afterward. While I was lucky my recipient wrote a nicely detailed letter, I've done exchanges where I had no idea what the recipient wanted (no letter, no indication of interests) and those times have been stressful. These tags are good for people who don't write/receive optional detail letters as well as for narrowing down what you really want for an exchange during signups.
2. The writing time was fine length wise, but maybe the timing should be moved around? Most of my North American and European friends that are students or teachers had final exams and spring vacations around this time which cut down on people willing to sign-up as well as people who had time to beta-read.
3. I liked this year's requests format, I think the other way might be a little harder to wrangle as some people only would want to request one character/relationship for some fandoms.
4. I'm more into writing exchanges than art exchanges so I'd be unlikely to request art and unable to offer art.
