Nominations Clarifications - Marvel Fandoms

Hello, everyone! Nominations are open another week, until 22 March. If you notice any issues in the tag set--duplicates, misspellings, things that should be clarified--please let us know ASAP.

We've had a lot of questions come up about live-action Marvel continuities and how they should be grouped in nominations. We don't have a strong preference, so we're going to put it to a poll, see what the general consensus is after the weekend, and then reorganize the tagset accordingly.

If you plan to offer and/or request live-action Marvel characters or relationships, please comment to say whether you would prefer:

A) All live-acton Marvel movies & shows to be in the same MCU fandom
B) Marvel films to be in a MCU fandom, with Marvel TV (Jessica Jones, Defenders, Agent Carter, etc.) in a second fandom, and any relationships between the two in Crossover Fandom
C) Marvel films to be in a MCU fandom, with each Marvel TV show in its own fandom, and any relationships between these in Crossover Fandom (most similar to what we did last year)
D) Something else (please specify)

My preference is for either B or C.

I don't have a significant preference beyond wanting the Netflix shows grouped together because of character/event crossover, but I will mention that I've already nominated MCU/Netflix ships under Crossover Fandom because that's what I'm used to having to do for exchanges.

It's really really hard to know what characters are even "from" what shows. Claire Temple could be from Daredevil because that was the first show she was on, or she could be from Luke Cage cause she gets the most screentime on it. but then she's in Iron Fist and The Defenders a lot too, it's a mess

I prefer (B) or (D) where (D) is:

Marvel movies under MCU
Marvel Netflix shows under Marvel Netflix
Other Marvel TV shows as their own individual fandoms (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Agent Carter)

Orrr. . . I also would be okay with Marvel movies + the ABC shows under one umbrella as MCU
Marvel Netflix shows under Marvel Netflix

Just because in my experience of the various fandoms, I've seen more crossover of characters between the movies and the ABC shows (Peggy & Coulson & Howard Stark, of course, but also Maria Hill and probably one or two others I'm forgetting) whereas the Netflix shows seem almost entirely divorced (but very connected to each other).

Could the nominator of Robin Hood - All Media Types please clarify what they want, or, mods, could you please ask them to? That is a very broad label and it's not clear to me what canon or canons may be meant. Thanks.

Hi, so I made a very very stupid mistake in my nominations. I nominated group: Alexander Hamilton/Eliza Schuyler/George Washington/Alexander Hamilton but that should be group: Alexander Hamilton/Eliza Schuyler/George Washington
(There's an extra Hamilton in there).
