MCU Update & Further Clarifications

Thank you all for the feedback! Based on responses, we have decided to sort MCU-related nominations into two fandoms:

MCU: this includes all films, Agent Carter, and Agents of Shield

Marvel Netflix: this includes the Defenders and associated Netflix shows

Any crossover between the two should go in Crossover Fandom. You shouldn't need to take any action--I've started moving everything manually--but please have a look at the fandoms and make sure your nominated tags appear where you'd expect.

Other questions:

1. We are generally approving comics fandoms as nominated, which we have done in past years as well. There have been concerns raised with separating e.g. DCU from Midnighter and Apollo. Could the nominators of those fandoms please comment?
2. Could the nominator of Robin Hood - All Media Types please clarify if you want the traditional stories or a particular adaptation, e.g. Disney's sexy fox?
3. Could the Superman - All Media Types please clarify the version they're looking for?

Hey mods! I nominated Street Fighter - could it get moved to movies, please? The naming is a little confusing because different iterations of the canon share very similar ones, but I specifically meant the live action one.

Unfortunately, we can’t do that. Media associations for fandoms is done by AO3’s tag wranglers and is completely outside of our control.

Speaking of the MCU, just fyi, these are both nominated under the MCU:

Group: Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanoff
Group: Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov

Going by AO3 canonical tagging, I think the second one is what you want.

Thank you for bringing that up! My understanding is that he's referenced in passing in one of the episodes, so he (or a character by that name) also exists in-universe.
