AO3 Update

Hello, everyone! After we posted the last announcement, AO3 posted a "We'll be back soon" message. We're keeping an eye on the situation but don't know when the site will be available again.

Right now, our plan is to wait until AO3 is back up, then announce a new opening time that will allow at least some window of access to the site.

We're sorry for the additional delay! Best wishes to the AO3 volunteers working on a solution.

Reveals Countdown

It looks as though AO3 is up and stable! Fingers crossed. If that state of affairs doesn't change, we will be opening the collection at 11:59 PM US Eastern time today, 11 July, which is in about 8 hours (countdown).

In the meantime, please save copies of your work if you haven't already, and complete any final edits you may have!

Dear 5Kers, we are sincerely sorry for another delay, but we have just been contacted with a last-minute default.

We have one new emergency pinch hit, due as soon as possible. If you are able to take this assignment, please comment below with your AO3 name and let us know when you could have it done. It's possible we'll be in touch with several pinch hitters to see who is able to complete the work first.
