Perhaps this year more than most, it's not always possible to read and comment on your gift right away. If you'll be unavailable after story reveals, and you don't want to leave your author in suspense, you can comment on this post to give them a heads-up.

I'm likely going to be away from my keyboard for the weekend that the collection opens due to life stuff. Sorry to my author for any delay in reading (and therefore commenting) on my gift because of that. I still have every confidence I'll have time to read before the anon period is over.

I have a lot of writing projects I'm focusing on right now, and I tend to like to take my time reading fics that are longer than 3k or so, so I might be a few days late with my comment. I'll get to you before the anon period is over, though! I'll look forward to seeing what you've written for me!
