Nominations Queries, Part II

Nominations are open until 11:59 PM EDT on Friday, 26 March! What time is that for me?

We're reviewing tags as they come in, and we have a few clarifications and questions. In addition to what we've listed below, please continue to let us know if you see tags that are duplicates, misspelled, or otherwise incorrect.

First, we've made some decisions on recent installments in larger franchises.

Please nominate the Synder Cut of Justice League as follows:

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)

Please nominate characters from Wandavision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier under the Marvel Cinematic Universe tag, as their lead characters and plot flow directly from the MCU.

***

Open questions:

1. 17th Century CE RPF - Group: Isabella of Parma/Maria Christina Duchess of Teschen

Both these characters appear to have lived exclusively in the 18th Century. Can we confirm as 18th Century CE RPF?

2. We've received questions about how to nominate the Westeros novels/novellas that aren't part of the strict Song of Ice and Fire series. Would it make sense to approve these as a single tag such as Westeros Books (non-Song of Ice and Fire) - George R. R. Martin? (more graceful wording suggestions appreciated!)

3. We've received mixed responses to queries about how/if to divide Star Wars Legends, though it sounds as though participants prefer Knights of the Old Republic at least to be its own fandom. Please add any final comments on this post.

4. We have a nomination for The Mummy (1999). Does it make sense to approve this as The Mummy Series?

I'm going to be nominating for The Mummy and The Mummy Series makes more sense; there are some characters who are in both movies and some who are in only one.

We've sent it through as The Mummy series now!

Some original character groups are missing their "Group: ", as follows:

Capable Warrior Crown Prince/The Captured Assassin Who Failed to Kill Him

Obsessive Academic Deciphering Ancient Language/Ghostly Ancient Language Speaker (Original Work)

Unwilling Anchoress/Forgotten God Who Speaks To Her At Night (Original Work)

Washed-Up Lead Singer of a Pop-Punk Band/Bassist Who Quit When They Sold Out (Original Work)

Same with some crossover relationships:

Finn (SW ST) & Mace Windu (SW PT)

Finn (SW ST)/Bodhi Rook (SW PT)

Rey (SW ST) & Mace Windu (SW PT)

Rey & Finn & Poe Dameron (SW ST) & Obi-Wan Kenobi & Anakin Skywalker & Padmé Amidala (SW PT)

(also isn't Bodhi from Rogue One rather than PT?)

Thank you for that! We had been wondering why we kept getting 500 errors - now we know. Those should be fixed up very soon.

Not the nominator, but there's a misspelling in Single Parents (TV 2018):

Group: Poppy Banks/Douglas Forgerty

Should be "Fogerty" - (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7845644/characters/nm0004951)

Thanks!

That should be fixed now.

Not the nominator, but looking at these two OW tags, I have a strong feeling that the word I bolded was a goof, and they meant to say "Villain" there instead.

Group: Male Superhero/Male Supervillain Who Almost Dies to Shield Hero from Harm
Group: Male Supervillain/Male Superhero Who Almost Dies to Shield Hero from Harm

I agree! So I've fixed that up.

Good Omens -- Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman

"The Them" is a group, not a solo character. With names, it should be Group: Adam Young & Pippin Galadriel "Pepper" Moonchild & Jeremy Wensleydale & Brian... I couldn't find a last name for Brian XD But either Group: The Them or Group: Adam & Pepper & Wensleydale & Brian would make sense for anyone in the fandom, given character limits

That should be fixed up now - I went with The Them.

Brilliant, thank you.

Westeros Books (non-Song of Ice and Fire) - George R. R. Martin makes sense! Though Non-ASOIAF Westeros books - George R. R. Martin might be snappier, perhaps?

Isabella of Parma and Maria Christina were in fact 18c. My bad!

We've sent that through now.

I just noticed that under Harry Potter, the same group has been added twice just with inverted names:
- Group: Regulus Black & Sirius Black (HP)
- Group: Sirius Black & Regulus Black
