2023 Schedule & Rules Changes

Fandom5K 2023 is coming!

We plan to open nominations in about a week. Here is the schedule:

Nominations: 25 March - 3 April

Signups: 5 - 16 April

Assignments out by: 19 April

Mandatory check-in: 14-21 May

Default deadline: 21 May

Stories due: 11 June

Stories revealed: 1 July

Authors revealed: 16 July

We are also announcing two rules changes related to nominations and signups.

First, we are expanding the number of nominations allowed–nominators will be able to max out AO3’s nomination slots, with up to 10 fandoms and 10 relationships in each fandom.

Second, we are reducing the number of fandoms required in each signup. This year, each participant must request at least three fandoms and offer at least four fandoms, with a minimum of one relationship in each.
