We're grateful to all our pinch hitters! 5,000 words is a big commitment without any guarantee of a story in return.

A number of people are writing pinch hits but didn’t sign up for the exchange, and we’d like to give them the opportunity to leave prompts for treats. Treats for pinch hitters go in the same location as treats for anyone else, in the main collection.

If you picked up a pinch hit but aren’t signed up, please leave your AO3 name in a comment here along with the fandoms you’re interested in. You can specify characters/relationships, genres, prompts, and DNWs--as much detail as you'd like. Linking to past letters is also fine.

I signed up as a pinch hitter this year because one of the requests was calling my name XD

Just going to link to the Auto App link to my requests for the Summer of Horror exchange which have my DNWs, link to my letter (which has lists of my various likes), and some prompts. Summer of Horror only allows & noms with the option to opt in to shippy fic. I'm pretty sure I made notes on all the pairings I opted into shippy fic for. (Basically all of them save for Mace Windu & Leia Organa, Darth Maul & Leia Organa, and Mon Mothma & Leida Mothma).

Another note: Mon Mothma (Andor) & Leia Organa (Leia Princess of Alderaan) I know I opt'd in to shippy fic, but the PoA disambig only denotes the canon knowledge I'd was requesting. I forgot to put in my DNWs that I'd rather the fic take place once Leia is 18 if you're writing shippy fic of them.

Also also, I fuckin love darkfic. Like I know I list dark stuff in my likes but like I just wanna say that yes, I love regular fic as well but I also love darkfic so if something dark calls your name, by all means, don't let me stop you!

I've never done a pinch hit for Fandom5k before (nor taken on one with such a long minimum) so I'm really glad I pushed myself to get it done; I had a great experience writing my story.

If anyone would like to give me treats, here's my recent Candy Hearts Exchange letter to give you some ideas. Fandoms included are Word of Honor, Heaven Official's Blessing, the Silmarillion, Rogue One, and a few others (very tiny ones).
