Authors are revealed, but the collection is still open for late treats, of which we've had several already! And, of course, you can continue to read and comment to your heart's content.

Thank you to everyone who participated this year, and especially to O. for helping with story checking. And, as always, thanks go out to everyone who wrote pinch hits and got us across the finish line.
I'd like to open this post up for any feedback you have about the exchange, and especially about a couple of new rules under consideration for next year. These are just ideas, and they may not be implemented regardless of responses, but it would be helpful to know if there's interest one way or another.

Ideas under early consideration:
- Implementing a commenting rule along the lines of FFFX, where recipients must comment on their gift, refuse it, or contact the mod before signing up for the following year
- Allowing participants to offer and request comics at least 5 panels in length, also along the lines of FFFX's comparable requirements. Would you be interested in offering or requesting comics?

I wouldn't mind the commenting rule, either, but it does sound like additional work for the mod(s), so I'd understand if you end up deciding not to implement it.

Feedback thoughts:
1) I think the idea of comics are really neat! I personally would never be able to produce one but I'd love it if it were an option to receive and I think it'd be cool for artists to think about doing!
2) I don't mind the idea of a commenting rule, but if it's a lot of work for the mods I'm also okay with not having one.
3) Overall, I really love F5K and have never had problems with any part of it, so thank you so much for all that you do <3

Commenting rule: Echoing others - I wouldn't mind this implemented as long as it's not a lot of work for the mods.
Comics: I don't draw comics but would love to request them!
I have no other feedback for you as I had a great time. Thank you again!

Thank you for running this exchange!

1) I'm neutral on a commenting rule - I don't mind having one but I'm not sure that they're very effective, and I wouldn't want it to make more effort/trouble for the mods.
2) I love the idea of allowing comics! ♥ I'd definitely request them and possibly offer as well.
3) I wonder if a longer anon period might be feasible? It could give people more time to read before creator reveals (if they prioritize that), especially since there were several fics over 10k this year, and more time for treating (especially for pinch hitters), too. Maybe a full two weeks like FFFX or a week and a half would work?
Thank you again! ♥

Yes, I would be very interested in this! It would expand my ability to offer significantly. :) I would both offer and request comics.

I think that's a good idea!

There are exceptions like some Anime & Manga fandoms where the two versions are extremely close in plot and characterization, and I'll usually defer to nominator preference in those cases.
If you're not sure, please leave a comment on one of the nomination posts, and we can discuss!
